Downtown Santa Monica (DTSM) is seeking a progressive, transformative, and coalition-building leader to serve as its next CEO and solidify its position as one of the most renowned Business Improvement Districts in the industry.

As the epicenter of a vibrant and highly-engaged community that attracts residents, locals and millions of visitors from around the world, Santa Monica includes a world-class and eclectic mix of business, dining, outdoor sports, retail, hospitality, as well as art and entertainment.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding and transparent communications and interpersonal skills and embrace an inclusive leadership approach to strengthen collaborative partnerships with a spectrum of impassioned and dedicated community stakeholders. This leader will have demonstrated ability in organizational administration and will share a deep commitment to DTSM's vision for a "clean and safe" community and a welcoming destination for residents and visitors to enjoy. Prior experience with a property-based improvement district (PBID) is helpful, but not required.
