HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING | Official City of Santa Monica

Thursday, Dec. 1, 6:30pm @ Third Street Promenade

 

Join Santa, Mrs. Claus and City officials as they light the Official City of Santa Monica Holiday Tree on the world-famous Third Street Promenade. Sing classic Christmas carols with some of Santa Monica’s most talented vocalists while the little ones indulge in a kids’ craft station where they can create their own letters to Santa, who will also be on hand for photos.

Cinema on the Street, Downtown Santa Monica’s year-long outdoor movie series, is back once again for the holidays with a FREE screening of the comedy-horror film Gremlins in which a teen inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new Christmas pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town on Christmas Eve. Rated PG-13.

Join local synagogues as their members celebrate the Festival of Lights this Hanukkah on the world-famous Third Street Promenade. Lighting the menorah will begin shortly after sundown each evening. Shalom!

 

ICE GROOVES

Thursday Skate Parties @ ICE at Santa Monica

 

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary season of ICE at Santa Monica, the rink is spinning a series of music-themed skate parties called ICE Grooves each Thursday from 7pm – 10pm. The funk freezes over with a fun and eclectic DJ-powered soundscape each week. Rally friends, dress up for the set and get down!
