Don't be shy. You know you want to try this! Join acclaimed teacher/producer/director Ann James for this fun and exciting free workshop and learn Ann Bogart's practical guide to acting in synch with space and time. How slow is old? How fast is young? The answers may surprise you! Active class, wear comfortable clothing. Ann James has 30 years' experience sharing her talents with thousands of audience members, students and colleagues. Ann has directed in such award-winning regional theatres as Steppenwolf, Dallas Theatre Center, Hartford Stage and The Alley. In 2008, Ann ventured overseas to Khartoum, Sudan where she was the Associate Drama teacher for the Khartoum International Community School, leading dozens of children from all grades through course work specifically designed to teach drama, speaking in public, Debate and Choral Speaking Performance. She also served as the Model United Nations Coordinator and helped her students create, write and deliver final speeches for a delegation of over 200 teens from all over the world. Ann recently completed a six-year tenure in Shanghai and is Executive Producer for her own Chinese registered entertainment company, DreamWeaver Productions, opening its 6th season in 2018, after completing the 50th production in China last year. She can currently be seen as Nessa in WuJing's blockbuster hit, Wolf Warrior 2, China's top grossing film of all time.
