"A tour de force performance that Tolstoy himself might have enjoyed," says Willard Manus of Total Theater. See for yourself as you take a wild ride journey into the world of Tolstoy's classic novel with Brad Griffith's quick, witty sensibility and snippets of history that will hopefully whet your appetite to conquer the classic yourself, and all in under 60 minutes (we hope). Audiences are floored! "So much PASSION! Griffith's interpretation of War & Peace IN ONE HOUR was fresh, fun & inspired!" raves C. McClairian. "Mesmerizing and magical!" exclaims R. Kampf. "This show made an enormous and intimidating Russian novel seem like a romp--quite an impressive feat!" says C. Piehler. Brad Griffith was recently seen Mr. Martin/Monsieur Martin in the Santa Monica Playhouse English/French productions of The Bald Soprano/La Cantatrice Chauve, as La Condesa in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom at Precinct, and as Howie Catchem in Loopholes: the Musical at the Hudson. Other LA stage work includes Bitches, Prairie-oke and Are you there, God, It's Me, Karen Carpenter. Favorite roles include Claude in Hair, Almaviva in Figaro Gets a Divorce, and Matt in The Marriage of Bette & Boo. He holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Washington. "Under Construction," a short film he wrote and directed, premiered at Outfest, and was selected for other festivals nationally. He is currently producing and co-directing the documentary Cohibernation, now in post-production.
