DTSM Hospitality and Maintenance Ambassadors
Ambassadors can be recognized by uniform, and are trained to:
• Provide information to visitors
• Give directions
• Escort visitors and employees safely to and from vehicles and businesses upon request
• Help visitors find vehicles
• Aid visitors with vehicle trouble
• Work with the Santa Monica Police Department to locate returned lost items
Hours of Operations:
Sunday through Thursday: 8 a.m. — Midnight
Friday and Saturday: 8 a.m. — 2:30 a.m.

Ambassador Escort Team
An added benefit of the Downtown Santa Monica Ambassador Program is the Employee Escort Service. Safety is a main focus of the program and ambassadors are available until 12:30 a.m. to escort employees to their vehicles.

The Downtown Enhanced Maintenance Program handles upkeep for parking structures, public restrooms, alleyways, and sidewalks. Services include trash collection, cleaning and restocking restrooms, graffiti and flyer removal, sidewalk power-washing, and reporting of structural issues.
Maintenance ambassadors are available 24 hours a day.

Quality of Life Team
The Quality of Life Team consists of two people who deal primarily with long-standing issues that impact the downtown, allowing hospitality and maintenance ambassadors to focus on providing a great experience for our residents, employees and visitors. The Quality of Life Team ambassadors have been specifically trained to interact with and help individuals who are exhibiting signs of mental illness, are injured or engaging in anti-social behavior. They can be identified by their navy blue uniforms with "Quality of Life Team Ambassador" written on the back.
