What is the refund policy for event cabana rentals?
Cancelled event rentals will be refunded according to the following schedule and dependent on the amount of prior notice received by Ice at Santa Monica. Refund requests may be submitted via Eventbrite or emailed to email@example.com.

Events canceled by an Ice at Santa Monica staff member due to a closure for inclement weather or other service interruption may be rescheduled or refunded less $50 deposit per cabana.
What is included in the event cabana rental?
An event cabana rental ensures your exclusive use of one 20'x20' cabana for two hours. Cabanas are equipped with three tables, tablecloths, and 16 chairs.
What is included in the Ice at Santa Monica party package?
Add a party package to your event cabana rental and let the Ice at Santa Monica staff handle the details for you. Party packages may be added up to 48 hours in advance of your event and will be charged at a rate of $150 per party package on the day of your event. An Ice staff member will reach out to you following your event cabana rental reservation to see if you'd like to purchase a party package.
Each Ice at Santa Monica party package includes:
12 Admissions/Skate Rentals
Cups, Plates, Napkins, Candles (for Birthdays)
2 Large 1-Topping Pizzas
2 Beverage Selections (Soda, Juice or Water)
Additional skaters will be charged at the standard admission rate of $15 per skater.
Additional 1-topping pizzas may be ordered at the rate of $20 per pizza.
Is there a limit on the number of attendees for an event?
Your event can include any number of skaters at the standard admission rate of $15 per skater. Spectators who will not be on the ice are always free of charge. A single event cabana measures 20'x20' and can comfortably accomodate up to 25 people with seating provided for 16. Larger events exceeding 25 people may require the rental of multiple cabanas.
Can I host an event longer than two hours?
The standard time for parties at Ice at Santa Monica is two hours. To schedule an event longer than two hours, you may complete a second registration for an additional time block. Can I rent out Ice at Santa Monica to host a private event?

Do I have to bring my printed registration to the event?
A printed registration will speed your check-in process, but your reservation may also be located with a standard photo identification.
How many skaters can attend a private lesson?
Each online registration and payment of $45 guarantees you a one-on-one lesson with a single skater and instructor. Up to one additional skater may be added to the lesson. The additional skater will be charged the standard admission and skate rental of $15 on the day of the lesson.
How long does a private lesson last?
Private lessons include 20 minutes of one-on-one instruction. Please arrive early to lace up your skates and ensure you are ready to start when the lesson begins.
Am I guaranteed the coach I selected?
We will make every effort to accomodate your coach of choice. However, we reserve the right to assign your lesson to any available coach in the event your selected coach is unavailable.
How far in advance should I register? Can I register at the ice rink the day of the lesson?
All registrations must be received online at least 48 hours before the beginning of the lesson. In order to manage instructor schedules, we cannot accept or guarantee same day registrations.
Can I register for multiple lessons in a single transaction?
You will need to complete a separate transaction for each date and time you wish to attend a private lesson. This allows us to manage your registrations individually in the event you need to cancel or change a single lesson. For faster registrations, you may consider creating an Eventbrite user profile to prefill certain fields including credit card payment information.
What is the refund policy for skate lessons?
Full refunds will be issued against requests for cancellation received more than 72 hours prior to the beginning of the lesson. Payment will be forfeited for cancellations received within 72 hours of the beginning of the lesson.

Can I skate after my class or lesson?
Class participants may purchase a wristband good for open skating during all general public hours on the same business day as the class session at a discounted rate of $12.50 each.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Multiple public parking structures are located on 2nd and 4th Streets within walking distance of ICE at Santa Monica. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes and subject to a daily maximum of $17.50. You can also arrive at ICE at Santa Monica by Big Blue Bus or via the Metro Expo light rail line.

Ice at Santa Monica is an outdoor ice rink and as such is subject to weather conditions we cannot predict. The ice rink will operate if it rains, but will close should conditions become dangerous to skaters or staff. All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds on purchased tickets due to rain or other weather-related circumstances or said conditions' impact on the skating surface or overall experience.
