The Mono Lake Committee’s Wild and Scenic film festival features inspiring films on outdoor adventure, environmental activism, natural wonders, and more. This year’s festival features 8 short films showcasing stories of people all over the globe breaking boundaries and overcoming incredible obstacles. The event is a fundraiser for our Outdoor Education Center, which brings Los Angeles area youth to the Mono Basin for a week of outdoor experiences while learning about the source of their water. For many students, the trip is the first time they've left city limits and serves as a life-changing experience. All funds raised are used to cover transportation costs for groups that may otherwise be unable to make it to the Mono Basin.
Tickets: $15 online or at the door $7.50 for students For more information and to buy tickets, visit monolake.org/wildandscenic
